B.C. Skills Immigration registration score.

The BC PNP replaced its Skills Immigration Program Guide on May 28 and again on June 10, 2026. This page shows the human-capital points confirmed in the current edition, explains how the registration score is used, lists the 2025–26 changes and shows recent invitation rounds. It is not a calculator, and the reason is explained below.

Last reviewed October 19, 2026About 5 min readBC PNP Skills Immigration Program Guide

Why this is a guide and not a calculator

We checked the BC PNP pages on October 19, 2026. The Skills Immigration Program Guide in force is the edition effective June 10, 2026 (it replaced the May 28, 2026 edition, which had replaced the December 4, 2025 edition). We could read Parts 1 to 7 and sections 8.1 to 8.3 of the current edition, but the two economic tables in Part 8 (section 8.4, hourly wage bands, and section 8.5, area of employment) could not be opened in our review.

No calculator until the whole grid is confirmed. A calculator that mixes confirmed human-capital points with unconfirmed wage and area points would give a score that looks precise but may be wrong. This page therefore shows only the three human-capital tables confirmed in the current edition. For the wage and area points, read sections 8.4 and 8.5 of the Program Guide on WelcomeBC, or ask a regulated professional to calculate your registration score from your documents.

How the registration score is used

You do not apply for nomination directly in Skills Immigration. You register, and the BC PNP scores your registration from the information you provide. Candidates “most likely to meet B.C.’s economic and labour market needs” are then selected from the registration pool for an invitation to apply (ITA). The province may use more than one factor to issue invitations.

Part 8 of the June 10, 2026 edition groups the 200 points as follows.

Section 8.4 states that points are based on the hourly wage in the job offer and that only the hourly rate of pay is considered; the wage bands themselves, and the Metro Vancouver, Area 2 and Area 3 points with their regional experience and alumni additions in section 8.5, are in the guide.

Recent invitation rounds

The recent rounds on the official invitations page, last updated October 15, 2026, are targeted rounds: Care, Build, Innovate and the rural and remote health initiative. A minimum score is useful only when compared with your own score under the current guide.

The wage threshold for the Innovate wage-based round was lower on September 24 than in earlier 2026 rounds ($55 an hour in August and $62 in June). The BC PNP says future high economic impact rounds may use different factors.
