Who we are and which law applies
This website, ghasedak.ca, is operated by Ghasedak Immigration Services, Unit 600, 95 Mural Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 3G2. The immigration services are provided by Farnoosh Mostaed, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC #R706857). Once you become a client, she is also bound by the confidentiality duty in section 28 of the Code of Professional Conduct for College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants Licensees.
We handle personal information in the course of commercial activity in Ontario, so the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) applies. PIPEDA rests on ten fair information principles: accountability; identifying purposes; consent; limiting collection; limiting use, disclosure and retention; accuracy; safeguards; openness; individual access; and challenging compliance. We aim to follow them on this site.
This policy covers ghasedak.ca. Our legal, paralegal and notary website, ghasedaklegal.ca, is operated by Ghasedak Legal Services PC and has its own information practices.
How this website works
ghasedak.ca is a static website. Its pages are fixed files. There are no user accounts or logins, and there is no AI chat assistant on the site. The ways you can send information to us are the assessment form, the contact form, and the email, phone and WhatsApp links that open another service on your device.
Assessment form and contact with our office
The assessment collects the information you enter: your name and contact details, age and location, family and immigration circumstances, education, work, language ability, travel and application history, goals, and relevant financial or family information. Some questions appear based on your answers.
Submitting the form sends your information through our form service at forms.ghasedak.ca to our office for an initial review and follow-up. The purpose is to understand your inquiry and contact you. A required checkbox records your agreement to this use. Submitting the form is not an application to an immigration authority and is not a professional services agreement.
The contact form collects your name, email address, phone number, the service you are asking about and your message. It is emailed to info@ghasedak.ca. To limit spam, both forms include a hidden field, and the contact form limits repeated submissions using a one-way (hashed) version of your network address kept for a short time.
Provide only relevant information. Do not include passport numbers, Social Insurance Numbers, bank account numbers or confidential document copies in free-text fields. Contact the office for an appropriate way to share case documents. Provide family members' information only where needed and with appropriate knowledge and authority.
Optional email updates
Email updates are a separate choice from the assessment. The checkbox on the assessment form is not preselected, and you can submit the form without ticking it. If you tick it, you agree to receive Canadian immigration news, program and service updates, event announcements and occasional greetings by email from Ghasedak Immigration Services, Unit 600, 95 Mural Street, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 3G2, info@ghasedak.ca.
Only your name and email address are used for the mailing list; your assessment answers are not newsletter-list content. We record your subscription request and consent status so that we can manage updates. You may unsubscribe at any time through an email's unsubscribe link or by contacting the office. Canada's anti-spam law requires us to honour an unsubscribe request within 10 business days.
Visit statistics, cookies and outside services
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used. Google Analytics may set cookies and process technical information about your browser and device, such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location, your device type and some link clicks. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site. Your browser settings let you limit or clear cookies, and Google offers an opt-out tool.

Hosting and security infrastructure, the form service and email providers help us run the site and receive your messages. Providers may process information outside Canada. Email, phone, WhatsApp, social-media and official-source links take you to other services with their own privacy practices.
No AI chat assistant
Earlier versions of this website offered a chat assistant. This site does not. This site collects no chat conversations and does not send what you type to an AI provider. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, the information you send is handled by that service and by our office as described in this policy.
How long we keep information
PIPEDA requires personal information to be kept only as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected. Professional file obligations can require us to keep client records for a period, so this page does not set one fixed retention period for all office records. If you ask us about retention, we will explain the records that relate to you.
Safeguards
We use safeguards that are reasonable for the sensitivity of the information. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to put identity numbers or confidential documents in forms.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us about how we use or keep your information, request access to it, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent, including to email updates. In your first message, give only the type of request and a way to reach you. Do not send sensitive identification documents unless the office specifies an appropriate process.
We will explain the records that are relevant to your request and any limits that apply. PIPEDA gives an organization 30 days to respond to an access request, and in some cases the time can be extended. Immediate deletion of every record cannot be promised in every situation; for example, professional file obligations may affect retention.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. The Commissioner's office asks you to try to resolve the concern with the organization first.
