Round #448 was limited to provincial nominees
On October 13, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 752 invitations to apply in a program-specific Express Entry round for candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 772.
A score of 772 did not by itself make a candidate eligible. The candidate also had to be in the Provincial Nominee Program group that the round covered.
Tie-breaking rule
IRCC published a tie-breaking date of July 15, 2026 at 13:57:33. If more than one eligible candidate had a CRS score of 772, the profile submitted earlier ranked ahead of the later one.
IRCC's data gives the round time as October 13, 2026 at 10:25:58. It does not state a time zone for this time or for the tie-breaking time above, so none is added here.
What an invitation means
An invitation to apply allows the candidate to submit a permanent residence application through Express Entry. It is not an approval. The applicant must still meet the requirements of the provincial nomination and of the federal program, and provide the required documents within the deadline stated in the invitation.
