B.C. targets four care and construction groups
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) published four completed Skills Immigration selections dated October 8, 2026.
| Selection | Invitations | Minimum registration score |
|---|---|---|
| Care: Childcare (early childhood educators only) | 86 | 99 |
| Care: Health (priority health care occupations) | 82 | 76 |
| Care: Veterinary care (priority occupations) | fewer than 5 | 86 |
| Build: Construction trades (priority occupations) | 115 | 94 |
Veterinary-care candidates in NOC 32104 (animal health technologists and veterinary technicians) also needed a valid professional designation.
The B.C. thresholds are provincial scores, not CRS
The scores of 99, 76, 86 and 94 are BC PNP registration scores, not federal Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores. An invitation does not by itself confirm a nomination or permanent residence. The applicant must meet every requirement of the stream.
Newfoundland and Labrador issues 131 invitations
Newfoundland and Labrador published an invitation batch dated October 9, 2026. The province issued 130 invitations through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and one through the Atlantic Immigration Program, for a total of 131. The province did not publish a minimum score for this batch.
Two Alberta draws
Alberta's official draw table lists two draws that this website had not yet recorded:
- October 2: Alberta Opportunity Stream, 123 invitations, minimum Worker Expression of Interest (EOI) score 54.
- September 29: Alberta Express Entry Stream, Priority Sectors (General) pathway, 200 invitations, minimum Worker EOI score 64.
These are Alberta Worker EOI scores, not federal CRS scores. Alberta also assesses the requirements of the named pathway and provincial priorities.
