Calculate your Northwest Territories EOI score.

The official 845-point grid that ranks Employer-Driven Stream expressions of interest: language, age, experience, education, the NWT job and adaptability.

Estimate your expression of interest (EOI) score for the Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) Employer-Driven Stream, which covers the Entry Level/Semi-Skilled, Skilled Worker and NWT Express Entry categories. The points come from the official Employer-Driven Stream EOI points grid, checked on October 18, 2026. The maximum is 845 points.

Language: first official language (maximum 100) and second official language (25)
Human capital: age, work experience and education
Connection to the NWT labour market
Adaptability to the NWT

Age is counted on the day you submit the EOI. Education is a single row: choose your highest completed credential, or the row for post-secondary education related to the nominating occupation. The calculator counts the points you enter without checking that the facts match your documents.

Skilled trades occupations on the grid

The 40 trades points apply to a job offer in one of these occupations. The NWT says the list is subject to change.

What the estimate does not tell you

Ranking is not stream eligibility. The employer must register in the NWT Nominee Program portal first, and then you complete the EOI. Both the employer and the worker must meet every requirement of the stream. An EOI is not an application, and a high score does not guarantee an invitation or a nomination.
  • How selection works. The NWT invites the employers of the highest-scoring candidates to submit a full application in draws held through the year. The number of draws depends on the annual nomination allocation, and there is no fixed score threshold.
  • Posted 2026 draws. The NWT lists four draws: March 25 (65 invitations, scores 417 to 597), June 25 (79 invitations, 386 to 590), August 26 (104 invitations, 346 to 555) and September 25 (105 invitations, 317 to 492). It says the next draw will be in early 2027 and that the date will be confirmed in late 2026. Use these figures only for context.
  • One profile. You can have only one active EOI. To change it, you withdraw it by email and submit a new one.
